Slow fashion

Fashion liberates both worker and wearer

Made in small quantities by makers paid a living wage, built to last, and packed without plastic.

What is slow fashion?

“Slow fashion connects social and environmental awareness and responsibility with the pleasure of wearing beautiful, well-made, and lasting clothing. It is the intersection of ethical, eco, and lasting fashion.”

Our why

Making beautiful, quality clothes is not enough for us

We want to show you who makes them and how they are made. Conscious consumerism starts with knowing your purchases from their source, and we are committed to delivering sustainably procured and produced clothing to mindful consumers. Knowing #whomadeyourclothes, and the people at the beginning of the supply chain, cultivates a deeper appreciation for your clothes.

Let us honour our makers.

01

Ethical sourcing

We work with small production houses with no more than 10 garment workers. Liaising directly with the seamstresses is crucial for us: communication flows better without a middleman, and we know for a fact that the workers are in a safe and decent working environment. Most importantly, they are paid a living wage for their honest work.

Fashion liberates both worker and wearer.

No poly-mailers. Just recycled carton boxes.

02

Zero plastic policy

We have been plastic-free since 2019! Our clothes are packed in recycled carton boxes, and we do not use plastic poly-mailers when we ship your order. We give our all to avoid any form of plastic in our packaging and collaterals.

Community projects

In February 2020 we partnered with CDL (City Developments Limited) and Darul Ghufran Mosque to organise the Eco-Bank collection drive. The project aims to “save” pre-loved items from landfill and redistribute them to new owners.

04

Quality clothes

As a conscious brand, we make our collections in small quantities to ensure quality workmanship and finishing for every garment. We strive to produce clothes built for longevity, instead of chasing trends or manufacturing in bulk.

05

Forest restoration

Part of every purchase made on our website goes towards conservation projects in Indonesia. We also run a monthly tree-planting initiative, PokoKita, where we invite everyone to play a part in combating global warming. Together with our local partners, Sources of Indonesia (SOI) and Lindungi Hutan, and the support of our customers, we have planted over 5,000 trees since 2020 :)
